The Ascendants Story

Ascendants was originally written by Don Schechter as a two-hour feature film but has expanded into a pilot script for an ongoing series. You can read more about that story and see conceptual artwork on this page.

We are garnering interest in the world of Ascendants by creating an anthology of short films set in that world. Each short in the Ascendants Anthology explores a different aspect of the life created by the discovery of Ascension – and each film takes place at different key historical points. Our first short’s festival run began at the TCL Chinese Theater (formerly Grauman’s Chinese Theatre) as part of the Hollyshorts Film Festival
